Since arriving in Oz it has done nothing but rain so we had to put our boat trip to Rotto on hold until Friday when the weather began to clear. We were up early and made our way to Peter and Jo's boat which is moored at the Royal Perth Yacht Club on the Swan River. It was still pretty overcast and we both thought me might be in for a rough 12k journey over to Rottness Island. We arrived in Perth on our next leg of our journey having nearly missed our connecting flight from Sydney due to the arrival of Kim Kardashian in Australia and the media scrum that followed her to her car stopping us from getting through to the domestic terminal. Its great to finally be here its been a long time coming and looking forward to spending time with the Aussie family and the build up to Sue's 70 birthday party where mum and dad will be joining us!
