This morning we got up early and headed for the city of Granada. We found our campsite first before heading into town to check out the place. Our main objective was to check out the Alhambra which is an Islamic fortress that is combined with gardens and a palace but unfortunately after walking up a steep, steep hill for at least 30 minutes in the hot sun, arriving just before the ticket booth closing time we were told that they had sold out of tickets which was to say the least disappointing!
