Today we drove a little way along the coast and parked up in Cannes… well we thought we had reached Cannes, and had struck gold by finding a free parking spot, but as we started to walk…and walk… and walk for over an hour we realised wehadn't quite reached Cannes just yet!But we kept walking (4km) until we reached the centre of the town and checked out the area where they hold the film festival, and walked along the boardwalks and admired the million dollar...

Today we drove to St Tropez, and had a quick look around the town, but our main priority was heading to the beach! The beach was packed with people, and most of the coastline is filled with private beaches, with all the Frenchwomen tanning themselves with oil on sun beds drinking Perrier! Yesterday we followed the coastal road from Arcachon down to St Girons where we had a great lunch in another carpark. The weather still hadn't improved but we made the most of our time there. This morning we had a great French breakfast with Sophie in her courtyard. Our meal consisted of fresh coffee and orange juice, brioche and croissants with nutella. Num, Num...
