After days and days of driving and walking around sightseeing we were in need of another relaxing day. After reading in the handy Lonely Planet book that there wasn't many sights to see in the city of Alicante, we parked up at a local campsite and proceeded to get...ahem...(excuse the crudeness) absolutely s***faced on spanish beer, sangria and white wine (A white rioja which cost us only 4 euros, that you could buy at The Chequers for 15 pounds...what a steal!)

So as a result we saw none of Alicante, only part of the beach when we trekked it to Macca's for a late night feed! We're sure it's a lovely part of Spain though.
