Captains log 23/06/13 Croatia! We leave Albania, and thank god for that, it was a very unpleasant stay. Today is a lot of driving, we drive though Montenegro, and get a few more stamps :) Bella and I have sat up the back of the bus the last few days hanging with the cool kids, it's nice to have a change up. When we hit Montenegro it's half town half shanty town, with a lot of the locals living out of their cars and what not. It feels very Eastern European! We stop off at a huge shopping market and buy stuff for sandwiches and lunch. I'm feeling a little piggish so I got a large stick of tobelrone, and ate almost all of it! I think I've put on about 10 kgs, im going to have to hit the gym as soon as I'm back in Perth :(. Back driving! We make it to the Croatia boarder and we are held up here for a long time, we are later told its because they're in a transition period, about to join the European Union. We finally make it though and onwards to Dubrovnik! This place is amazing and by far the best place we have been. The old town is a 1600 century walled castle that's used as housing and shopping today, it's so cool, everywhere is so lovely. We get a walk around the city tour and amaze at how well persevered the whole place is. Once that's done we head off to find our hotel, a lovely hotel on the side of a mountain over looking the sea, it's so amazing! We settle in and head in for some dinner, a buffet, however it was a semi decent one. They had beef tongue! And calfs livers! Tongue was amazing, livers were really bad. I tried my very best to get everyone to eat the tongue but they weren't very keen. After that we went to the balcony of the bar and had a few drinks and watched the sun set! That was very very nice. Now it's time, were having a hen and bucks night! Finally a chance to get the boys together and away from the wife's :p, naturally not Bella :p! Josh and jade were our hen and buck, and naturally it was our groomsmen duty to stitch him up! We arrived to a bucket bar, that served alcohol sand buckets like the ones we had in Mykonos, this time 1/3 of the price and twice the alcohol! Game on! We got our first one, vodka red bull, and Aaron had the great idea to have a sculling race, from this point on the night is very rough! We stitched josh hard :p double parking him, and not letting his drink hit the bottom, were s*** mates. After a few buckets and a bit of this and that we headed to meet up with the girls. Liz had taken them to a similar type of bar, and they were also getting their drink on! And playing silly drinking games like "I've never" everyone was very under the weather! When all of a sudden a coin dropped and the night turned sour. I'm not sure why but multiple groups of people got emotional either angry or sad. It might have been the gigantic buckets, the fact that its day 24 of tour and everyone's tired, sick an generally wore out, but s*** got real. Tears were flowing and chairs were being thrown. Oh well, I tried to play the diplomat but when it wouldn't work I got Bella and went home with Elise, a good night ruined. Bella was a little upset by it all, but nothing a bed and a glass of water couldn't fix. I thought this would be a great time to call mum being early Perth time! This brought on many laughs, as brad could hear me talking in the hall way and was trying to come out and talk to me. However forgetting he was heavy intoxicated he was only wearing tighty whiteys, a very funny sight, with ang trying her best to hold him back. Lucky Isaac showed up, put him on his shoulder and throw him in bed! Good times. The first negative night, but still a decent one! Also mum, sorry if you couldn't understand me :)

P.s fun fact Dubrovnik is also the place were kings landing is filmed for game of thrones! Good times :p
