Becky Bravo's Adventures
Tomorrow comes a sad day for us. We have to go back home! ;( No more room service. (We ordered it a total of 6 times during our week here) No more turquoise beach. No more free and delicious tropical drinks with the little umbrellas in them. Usually towards the end of a trip, no matter how fun it is, I am pretty much ready and anxious to be home. Out of money and wanting to sleep in my own bed. Not this time. I could totally stay here another week. Could we afford it? Not even a little, but this was such and excellent vacation, neither Jaime nor I are ready to leave. But of course we have to.
So nothing too exciting happened today. Nothing eventful compared to our Whale Shark adventure yesterday. We woke up to meet the group for breakfast at 9am, so our day started earlier than our other days spent on the resort. The rest of the wedding guests left today, so it was just Me, Jaime, and Jon and Shareen left. They had a snorkeling tour scheduled, so Jaime and I were on our own. We laid on the beach, ordered some drinks, then ate lunch. We laid by pool, ordered some drinks, then cleaned up and went to dinner. There were some performers here tonight that put on a fire show and it was incredible! Jon and Shareen's room faced the beach so we were able to watch it from their balcony. The performers had batons and hula hoops and all sorts of other things that were lit on fire, and they danced, did acrobatics, and amazing tricks. It was quite the show.
After the show, Jon and Shareen let us copy their professional wedding photos to my computer. I included some of the cooler pictures that can give you a feel for the evening of their wedding. The photographer the hotel provided did an amazing job. The other pictures included are just of Jaime and I lounging around trying to get the most out of our last full day here. We set up camp on the beach this morning after breakfast, and Jaime had a beer, I had my peach margarita, we were listening to Kenny Chesney's "Beer in Mexico" and just thought. Wow, this is the life. We were very lucky to experience such a beautiful place at an incredible resort with amazing friends. We are two very blessed people.
Our flight lands a little after 8pm tomorrow, then it is back to the daily grind for us. Thank you again for following our trip, we hope you enjoyed reading about our adventures, as well as our not-so-adventurous days. We don't have to catch our shuttle to the airport until 2pm, so we have about half a day to get our last fill of the beautiful beach and pool area, and enjoy some more food.

Melody Sorry, but that swimming with the sharks is too risky for my blood. Glad you enjoyed the swim if not the boat. Sea sickness is NO joke! Except for a few "hic cups", your stay there sounds ideal. The resort sounds GREAT! One good thing about going home is that you know for sure how wonderful the vacation was. Best to J. Love, Auntie
