We arrived on Koh Samui island on the 4th July after a really really long journey! We had a 9 hour wait at Hualaphong station at Bangkok, followed by a 13hour train to Surat Thani. If that wasn't enough, we then had a half hour coach journey to the port and 2 and a half hours on a ferry to the island! So you can imagine we were very pleased to get here! 10th July 2009 - Beckie turns 20!! Our day started very early, waking up at half 6 to open birthday cards and catching our bus at 7am. It took us to the north of the island to the Fisherman's Village. We then got to go on a speedboat for about an hour taking us to Ang Thong National Marine Park, a collection of 42 islands.
