AoNang, Krabi A very early start for the next leg of our journey, up at 6am to catch the first ferry from Koh Samui to Don Sak. 2 hours later we hit the mainland, then followed by a 2 hour wait and a 3 hour bus journey to Krabi town. We arrived on Koh Samui island on the 4th July after a really really long journey! We had a 9 hour wait at Hualaphong station at Bangkok, followed by a 13hour train to Surat Thani. If that wasn't enough, we then had a half hour coach journey to the port and 2 and a half hours on a ferry to the island! So you can imagine we were very pleased to get here! 10th July 2009 - Beckie turns 20!! Our day started very early, waking up at half 6 to open birthday cards and catching our bus at 7am.
