last night we went to the villa at the golf course. We had our own room and bathroom something long missed when backpacking. the decor was lovely and we could see the golf course from the house. in the morning we got up and patrick drove us to the golf course in his golf buggy, we tried to do some kangaroo spotting but none were to be seen. we had our breakfast at the club house and then watched the putting compitition. during this beki took group photos of the teams and did some sunbathing. afterward at around 9.30am we went to the club house where the local celebs were being autioned off. there were radio personalities and also some rugby and afl stars who throughout the day we got to meet. after this the teams went off to play and we got our own buggy to zip around the golf course. it was a lovely day and we got to meet loads of nice people and also had a great view of the course whichw as spectacular and also had the family company logo emblazend on the grass. afterwards we went back to the villa to get ready for the evening meal. we both dressed up as much as we could ( as backpackers) and then went to the meal, beki driving patricks buggy. we arrived and had a few drinks at the bar then sat down at our table. we were with all the cousins and met sam, jess, tegan, brenadan and antony who were on our table. drinking rules are differnt in oz and as we had 2 people who were under 18 ( the 2 guys) we had our beer removed but not the wine??? the meal was really yummy i had fish and steve had steak. we also had starters and a yummy chocky pudding. this was follwed by more wine and drinks ( for those not driving) beki was driving so when the time came she drove, in the golf buggy, patrick and steve back to the villa where we watched the ozzies beat nz in rugby by loads and then headed off to bed. what a lovely day!
