after spending a mandatory night in rainbow beach (thank goodness it was only one night as there was NOTHING there), we were off to noosa. i did not know much about noosa except it was a nice place where a lot of people vacation and you could do an overnight everglades canoe safari...upon our arrival, i sensed the next 3 days would be kind of quiet...noosa was a very nice place but just very spread out and quiet. we did venture to the australia zoo one day as it was a free coach ride and you have to go to the zoo if you are there! that was def a highlight of the travels! claire and i had so much fun just being kids again in the petting zoo, in the gift shop trying on all the hats and taking silly photos! crikey! we got to feed elephants and see most native aussie animals in a replicated environment. we did not do a whole lot in noosa, i think it was good to have some downtime and just relax and drink. =)
