Day 12 of walking the Camino. I am finding it easier now. Have some hot spots on my feet and am taping them each morning but all sore body parts at days end are feeling good next morning. Yea! The terrain is much different now, and the temp. Low mountains, more hills, no vineyards, field after field of hay, the odd herd of sheep, quite cold in am and evenings going to 15-18 in the afternoon. Some drizzly wet days. Well I am still vertical and moving. Ha. Actually getting a little easier. We are doing about 23-25 a day. There is a freedom to this pilgrimage which is hard to explain but totally peaceful and serene. My life is walk eat sleep repeat. Lots of time to contemplate life. I started in St.Jean Pied de Port on the French side of the Pyrenees to Roncesvalles to Zubiri to Pamplona to Puenta la Reina to Estrella.
