Cheryl Flaherty Wow! At the same time you were at the Augustinian parish I was at a Benedictine monastery - same thing - vespers, chanting, Masses, eating - but, of course, I am Catholic and didn't have to walk to get there! So happy that you're loving this. Can't wait to hear your revelations at the end. XO.

Ken Sept 28th Hi Sweetheart back here in the Beach we are all proud of your accomplishments and dedication to you completing this milestone and life changing experience. Sounds like you are having a great time taking on all kinds of challenges . Their will be all kinds of personal rewards as you complete each segment of the El Camino, that will strengthen your body mind and soul. Say hello to your El Camino hiking partners Carmela and Dominica . I think you may want to consider the Inca Trail to the top of Machu Picchu in Peru in the next year or so as another challenge on your "bucket list". You go girl. Love & hugs Ken
Bonnie Mackey Oh my God....you did it We are raising our glasses to you! Can't wait to hear about your journey when you come to Kingsgate Well done!

re: Camino Frances completed!Ken Yes Heather it has been very exciting indeed, you have certainly accomplished your goals along with you good friends Carmela and Dominica. Frank and I call you the 3 Amigos. While having a few wobbly pops we came up with an additional challenge, since you aren't doing much between now and the new year. We signed you up for an additional walk, as you are all aware there are 3 other branches to the El Camino Trail or alternate routes. 1) at Puente la Reina the trail that goes to Arles 2) the trail that goes from St. Sever to Le Puy 3) and the last trail from St. Sever to Paris. We have made arrangements with Air Canada to cancel your Oct 19th flight to Toronto and we are all going to meet up in Paris for new Years Eve. Yes what a surprise eh! We will all fly back to Toronto on Jan 10th , 2017 , except Heather and I who will fly to Florida. Then on Feb. 2nd Heather will fly off to Peru We guestimate at the rate you are currently walking that you should be in the City of Lights by Dec 29th . After a lot of research it was suggested that you take those routes in the order we laid out for you Frank and I are pumped and we know you will be too. Heather I also agree that after our meeting in Paris, you should fly to South America do the Machu Piccu Trail in Peru, I have done all the research you requested and you could climb the Inca trail up and the Lars Trail down then spend 4 months in the Galapagos Islands volunteering. I know this is your life dream so do it, it's only 6 months. Then we can meet in Italy in mid September. Keep up the spirit.! love Ken

re: SantiagoPatti Heather I can pick you up from the airport if you need a ride. I suggest you crack Ken's nuts if he chooses golf. Enjoy your last moments. Hugs to Andre, Erica and the kids.
re: SantiagoKen Heather to keep this trip real and with the threat that you can now crush whole walnuts between your thighs, I'm suggesting that you walk home from the airport in Toronto, this will be your final challenge should you choose to accept. Hell it's really your only option as I'm throwing grass to the wind and playing golf. Walking against the traffic is probably my best advice. Keep it real, your loving and tolerant husband.
