Hi everyone. Finally got connected and blog working. Well, Day 6 of my walk and I am in Estrella. I started in St.Jean Pied de Port on the French side of the Pyrenees to Roncesvalles to Zubiri to Pamplona to Puenta la Reina to Estrella. The scenery, mountains, hills, valleys, farmland with various crops, small hamlets and villages, sharing our path with horses, cows and sheep. Just magical. I have met people from all over the globe, and all so nice. My body is hurting in many places but it is worth it. The mountains and up and down hills is difficult. Often rocky terrains. I now realize how important poles are! In the pic attached I am soaking my feet in a stream we were walking
by. Really need to take care of your feet to avoid blisters. My mantra now is one foot in front of the other. And my Camino quote is "until you have walked your ass off, you have no idea how far you can drag it". Another plus on this walk is I can eat anything I want and still lose lbs. Off to Los Arcos tomorrow!

Ted and Mia Very interesting! We'll be following you closely. Have fun and stay safe. Looking forward to seeing what's left of you in Florida!
Brian Garry Love the blog. Take good care of the feet, and as they say in AAA one step, and one day at a time. You look great, and certainly don't look like you need to loose any weight. You are on a journey of a lifetime, and Rita and I will enjoy watching your progress to your final destination. Stay safe, and say hello to CRmella and Dominica for me. All the best, Brian
A&P All the best. Follow your dreams!
George Fiotakis Many thanks for the blog. I'm looking forward to keeping track of your adventure. Safe travels!
Diana Simms Great adventure.
Mike Morris How many pair of socks are you carrying? Recommend dry socks and plenty of foot powder. Based on personal experience :)) Oh! and salt tablets. A glass or three of wine at the end of the day works wonders. All my best, Mike
Nancy Turner Ken tried to emulate you and your trek by hiking us 12,161 steps through your fantastic city! I begged for a cool beer about 12:30, and finally he relented about 1:30! He is an excellent host, food, wines, booze, stories etc. just lovely. Would be perfect were you here too, but in essence you are cause we are all constantly saying, "what would Heather say?" I've been sworn to secrecy re several menu items. Love the blogs. You're entertaining half of Kings Gate and I'm sure a quarter of Toronto. Keep loving the life! Love N
