Decided to head accross to Great Keppel Island overnight. I think Pen was hoping to relive some of her youth (I got wrecked on Great Keppel Island). Very disapppointed to see the remains of the decaying resort (been closed for 8 years waiting redevelopment).

On the ride over with Keppel Konections we were lucky enough to have a good look at some Southern Right Whales, all the way up from Warrnambool.

After reaching the island, booking in to our 70's bungalow and grabbing lunch at the outdoor bar and bistro we decided to hit the water for a kayak adventure. Headed accross to Middle Island where we were told we could stop for a rest and a swim. Only thing was the tide was too low, so we had to turn back. The wind had got up and we thought Pen & Pops were kayaking back to Barwon Heads. When pride finally caved in, they allowed Baz & Jack to tow them back to safety. Took a little while, a vino and a beautiful sunset to recover her usual good grace.
