Arrived in Santa Fe from Rosario.....an easy 2.5hrs hop. Walked 5 mins to our hotel.

Do you know the way to Santa Fe....to paraphrase a song, i do know by being here. Santa Fe is wee...the whole of the main city is easy to walk and takes no more than a couple of hours to cover at a pleasantly ambling pace.

Today i have visited yet another museum to examine what colonial life here was like, admired a jesuit convent, dodged a million mosquitoes, took in a very pleasant amount of little pastries, lolled in the sun outside a cafe with a beer and ensured travel and accomodation for Sharan and myself for th next couple of days.

The spanish is still muy shaky but it gets us to where we want to go....not sure what we´ll do come Brazil!? Stayed in a great little hotel near the bus station, Hotel Costituentes, cable tv (yay), great showers, nice staff, comfy beds, and free internet....hence the post. Just killing time til another overnight bus trip to Resistencia...lots of sculptures apparently...we shall see.

PS Had a very nice meal for a fiver at a posh restaurant last night.....only passed two ladies of the night on the way there and back.
