Okay, so another overnight bus, not much sleep. Spent a couple of hours (4-7am) in the terminal drinking hot chocolate, eating croissants...caught a cab in to town...not going to tar all taxi drivers in Rosario with the same brush....but the thieving b*stard who did the ol´gypsy switch on our moneys when we got a lift to the hostel in the morning can burn in hell. I hope the 20 quid he exchanged for a fake note buys him something that invites stomach ache or a lingering physical complaint on the same level...

That said, have some souvenir fake notes from Argentina and an ínteresting´tale to share. ´No room at the Don Jaime hostel so we strolled down the road to a very pleasant and basic hostel ´del art with some very friendly people there. We were too early to crash´in a bed but they let us in off the street, we used the free internet and cosied down in some armchairs until check-in time....then we slept.

Woke up early evening, rolled out to get a meal then came back for another sleep - ha ha. Checked out in the morning....Rasoario had earned itself a black mark early on and Sharan and i didn´t fancy staying another night. Went exploring, took in the museo de la bandera (flag museum/war memorial) - most impressive. I went up the tower to look around as we didn´t have enough money for two and Sharan ducked out - nice views over the town and river. Visited Che Guavara´s birth place - power to the people. Browsed the pedestrianised shopping centre - very busy. Had my first McDonald´s in ages - yummy. Sharan got a Happy Meal and was very excited with her electric drumsticks.

That was it, done and done - caught the 2 o´clock bus out of town, after catching a non rip off taxi, to travel 2 hrs to Santa Fe.
