This morning we packed up after breakfast, ready to leave our beachside camping spot. Just as we were about to drive off, we decided that as we are in no real rush and the sun is shining, we might as well stay and enjoy the view and the sun.
So we pulled out the chairs and table and set them back up on the water's edge and settled down to read and relax. All of yesterday's campers left but by mid morning new campers were already arriving. Most camped along the side of the rest area facing the road, but we were very happy to have scored the end of the lot facing out to sea.
We passed the time in the sun and Gadi took the kayak out - Cadbury jumped off three times determined not to get wet. I baked another chocolate cake in the afternoon and we ate a slice while it was still warm. Cooked an early dinner on the weber while watching the sun set low over the ocean, and while it was lovely, it was not as spectacular as last night's magical sunset. Gadi chatted to our neighbours around their fire and I curled up inside to watch a bit of TV. We are still not sure about whether we will move on tomorrow. All will depend on the weather, which is supposed to bring rain and thunder over the next few days. We'll decide in the morning.
So, we get to spend another night right beside the water, listening to the sounds of the ocean washing up to the shore two feet from our front door - which is better than listening to a nearby neighbours generator!
Night night, sweet dreams xx
