On the bright side really I have not had anything very bad happy. On the gloomy side there have been things that have tested me & really pushed me. Train cancellations, snow changing plans, freezing cold weather & facing important life decisions. All gripes of my current existence. Finding a home to get to when snow cancelled my train actually wasn't that hard. But up until the time a solution was found it was ever so scary & daunting. Just wanting to cry but knowing you have to fix it first. Then on the trip back to Manchester mulling over job & travel prospects. That ever elusive crystal ball would be so handy right now. If I knew exactly what I wanted I could go after it and win, because I have the determination & competitiveness to achieve it. But when it's all grey and I have an idea of what I'd like and I am given a few options my drive is far less. I seen Biffy Clyro in concert on Friday night, they are a Scottish band and did a great show. I even bought their album off iTunes after seeing them for the first time - Mon the Biffy! Then on Saturday I had high expectations for 30 seconds to Mars. If Biffy Clyro were good and international band like theirs should be awesome. I was so disappointed about what a let down the show was that we walked out before the encore. Jared Leto looked sickly & needs to eat a burger or five. So flat and boring, I'd have to say the worst concert I've ever been to. Seeing Disturbed & Pendulum next week. Manchester the musical city. Loving all the entertainment, even if I have to face sub zero temperatures outside to get there.
