Wow, I'm actually pretty sad about leaving Ireland. I had my last Guinness just before getting on the bus to head to Dublin port. Savouring that fresh Irish flavour that you won't find anywhere else but here. The bus from Enniskillen to Dublin was magical this morning. The snow set for painting like scene. Soft, quiet & still. As dawn broke and the light creeped through the fog the landscape had a diamond sparkle and warm wintery glow. The purple, pink & orange across the sky set off the fields of white as my eyes danced across the hillsides not wanting to miss a beat. Photos through a bus window do not do it justice in the slightest. Ireland is wonderful, the people are beautiful and I think I may have left my heart behind as I boarded the ferry. I can't wait to come back in the spring or summer. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Ireland, although I have only just touched the surface & there is so much more to see. I can't wait to come back in the spring or summer. However I am pleased to be here for winter, it hadn't snowed in November for 18 years. I got to have my first snow in such an amazing place. As well as nearly having my first snow injury, as the locals say 'ey watch out it's wee slippy' and they are certainly right.
