Today we had to return the camper That all sounds very easy doesn't it? The decision to use this company was yet again confirmed to be a wrong one ! They had moved location 6 months ago but had given us old paper work which had the old address on This sounds trivial but when you are driving a 6 berth camper , with a car following , in a city around the international airport area where the sat nav at one time drove us into a building site , it took us an hour to find them and each other!
We then called in to see John's brother Chris who lives very close to the Parramatta Road and it is now very clear why everybody hates it , another manic half hour spent going nowhere lol
By this time it was too late to visit Bondi for lunch as we had a family bar b que organised for the evening and as rush hour is the same in any city ....in Sydney it starts at 3 00!....we made our way back to John and Lis's
The good news is that the sun was shining and we had a lovely evening with all the family and got to meet John's son Phillip , his wife Mel and the delightful Lola who is 20 months old
What a difference it makes to organise a bar b que and actually sit outside all the evening .....I think we managed it once last summer at home !
Today we are going into Sydney to Manly for lunch and to stay in an apartment overlooking the city ....more photo opportunities for the boys :-)
We are booked to have dinner at centre point tower for dinner hopefully as the sunsets :-))))))))) could be bubbles tonight then ;-) speak soon folks xxxx
