Latest news from Atlantis
We are provisioned and ready to go. All formalities are done and Atlantis had a complete clean of the hulls....it will make a huge difference in our speed.
The latest weather forecast is not predicting lots of wind, but it is common for this period of time, so we will have to motor the first day...let's see after that. Once at the latitude of Maceo we should pick up some wind.
At least when we have wind, it will come from the right direction.
We needed more time than usual to get the formalities done and shopping for more than 20 days is quite a task. We took a bus to get to the shop and came back with a taxi.....almost forgot the chicken on the jetty, but Mauro could safe it from getting in the wrong hands. It will be our first lunch at sea.....and it looks promising.
We will have a full breakfast before facing the South Atlantic up to Trinidad.
The departure is planned for 7:30 am (Brazilian time) Thanks for all your support and following our blog. We will try to update when in Jao Pessoa.
