what a nightmare tryin to get here!! the stupid shuttle bus didnt turn up at 1770!! you have to get a shuttle bus for about an hour to meet your oz experience bus, and after waiting half an hour at the bus stop i went to reception and they rang the company who said dont worry its on its way. an hour later.. rang again, they said it was just doing the pickups and they can assure us we wouldnt miss the oz experience

(coz if we did we have to pay $50 no show, and there were no more greyhound or premier busses that day and they were still goin to charge us for our accomodation in hervey bay, which we had to go to to pick up our bank cards..)

anyways around 2 hours later we rang again and they said it had gone just before twelve and we had missed it??? they guy blaintantly didnt even come at all, anyways i had a good old rant on the phone and they agreed to send the driver over to talk to us. he did and he was a prat, he was saying that he was there and that the reception lady even saw him(she was quick to tell him she wasnt even there then!) i had a massive barny with the guy coz i knew if we were older they wouldnt push their luck like they did..anyways i got them to pay for both of our premier busses and shuttle that night at 2.15am, haha...gettin! and we didnt have to pay the $50 coz no-one at oz experience logged it in the system.

arrived at Hervey bay just after half 5am so we walked through the macdonalds drive through with our backpacks and had a bacon and egg macmuffin in celebration, had to get a taxi to the YHA coz the shuttle didnt run that early (obviously).

YHA was really nice and only $50 a night for a double, and.... it had carpet!!! we had loads of fun waitin for the bus with jenga and dominos... haha. picked up our bank cards but i did the wrong pin so mines blocked now, woops, so gotta pick up a new pin in brisbane.
