I have been absent for a while as I got pretty busy with the last flights before my first Progress Test. I still have two flights remaining: tomorrow (March 30th) and Wednesday (March 31st). Then I'll have apporximately 5 days inbetween the last flight and my test. Yesterday and today (Monday 8/3 and Tuesday 9/3) we made a road trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Our day started at 5h15 in the morning were we had our simulator at Falcon Field to practice the patterns (circuits around the airport where you practice takeoffs and landings). Yesterday, March 4th 2021, I performed my very first landing. We were flying as Oxford 5643 on N28034, a brand new aircraft delivered on September 1st. We took off from Falcon Fields Runway 22 Left, went to the North East practice area after which we came back to land on Runway 22 Right at Falcon Field. Today, Sunday February 21st, I made my very first flight as Oxford 6398 on N28088. The airplane was a brand new Piper Archer TX, delivered on December 14th with it's maiden flight on December 17th. Today, February 19th, I got my first simulator session on the Piper Archer TX. We first had a briefing of about 30-45 minutes at 17h30 before getting into the simulator until 22h00.
