Today, February 19th, I got my first simulator session on the Piper Archer TX. We first had a briefing of about 30-45 minutes at 17h30 before getting into the simulator until 22h00. We run through the checklists for the 'before flight' phase, the Garmin 1000 setup (the big screens you see), engine start up, taxi, engine run up (make sure the engine is doing what it's supposed to do), take off and the effects of flight controls during straight and level flight.

My first REAL flight is scheduled for Sunday from 9h till 16h and the second one on Monday from 7h30 till 12h30.
