Today was my first day at Falcon Field. I had to wake up at 5h15 in the morning to meet my instructor, Juan, at 7 AM. At 10 AM we had a Welcome Briefing where we had to do our fingerprinting (for the FBI) and complete a form to request the authorization for our solo flights. After that, we received a tour from the Academy and we took some pictures on the ramp (tarmac). You can see them in the new photo album I made.

We’ve safely arrived at Stone Canyon Apartments, our home for the next couple of months. It’s like a small paradise for us: sun, tenten blue sky, warm, nice people. We’re living the dream! As from Monday now we will start with the briefings about safety, how the airport and airplanes work, how we need to enter the airport, etc. In the meantime, we’ve already bought new American phone numbers to call our prom colleagues, instructors, dispatch, the air tra...
