After the museum on Thursday we went shopping in the huge touristy markets. The shops were typical of what we saw in Ecuador. There were blankets, sweaters, trinkets, shot glasses, etc. It took me a while to decide what to buy. I ended up getting Dana and David alpaca hats that were also scarves - or so I thought. When I got home I discovered they were actually just scarves, which was very disappointing. I got my dad an alpaca hat. I got Nina and Mom scarves. Still looking for something for Terri and Tanya and Dana's parents.

We all met after shopping a bit and took a long bus ride to dinner. The Board Chair and another young board member were there. I was feeling terrible and feverish so I sat at the end so I wouldn't have to interact. Terrible of me for not networking, but all I wanted to do was sleep. The restaurant was super fancy and pretty empty. Turns out the board chair had a little crush on me, and also looked like a famous actor that I can't remember the name of right now.
