After a 12 hour coach journey over night we arrived in San Cristobal. Got ourselves a place to stay and after a little morning sleep to recover had a wander arond town, got some food etc.. The second day we were there we wandered around again and then bumped into some ozzie girls who took us to their hostel and showed us how we were supposed to be travelling. They had a fab hostel so i`m well up fo it now!! Went out for a beer with them in the evening and then becs and i got some food. Had our best meal yet, proper mexican fajitas, they were lush and i must have eaten about 20!!! Still haven`t had dodgy stomachs like we`ve been told we should have!! We must have iron stomachs!! The last day we were there we looked around, climbed high up some steps to a church, saw another pretty blue church (you know the normal sights). Went for a lush latte (Mum you will love this, there is a photo of it i`ll put on, we had a very yummy latte in an Italian Coffee Company, i know you`d love it so this one`s for you!!) San Crsitobal is a vey authentic mexican looking town high up in the hills. It`s quite cosmopolitan in a mexican way i guess. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants so it was good to just mooch around!!! Next, a 5 hour coach jouney to Palenque to look forward to!!
