59- got to the bus stop nice n early as we had to buy a new camera as mine had been mouled by the sand and was no longer working!! Arrived in noosa not really knowing what to expect after having mixed reviews from the people we've met. Got picked up by our hostel, and put our bags in and chilled for a bit. After dinner we jumped on the bus to the cinema where I got dragged into watching sex and the city, I regret it but D had a good time. After the cinema we headed back, which turnd out to be a good hour walk, and a few "discussions" on what way was the right way to go!
60- Up nice and early we headed into town, where D picked up a new hoodie and I got a nice new street fighter t-shirt for 5 dollers! Went onto the beach where we had a pic-nic and chilled with the seagulls for a bit with our feet in the sand. Headed back to the hostel where I cooked up a stir fry and we chilled in the hostel as it was an early start to Australia zoo the next day.
61- Up nice n early we got the hostel bus to the bus stop where we then got picked up by the Australia zoo bus, where the driver gave us some info on the zoo and Mr Irwin. He then put on a dvd which showed more info on the man himself. Into the zoo we were greeted by a frindly tazmanian devil.....which turned out to be a puppet none the less it still startled D when the lady with the puppet made it jump out from underneath the towelle! On entrance we got to stroke a 2 year old croc and lizard, before it was time for the otter show. After that we took a look round and saw the giant turtles, fed the elephants and took a few pics!It was soon time to go into the croctourium where they do the croc feeding, anput on a show using birds, snakes, elephants and crocs in a 5000 seater stadium. Grabbed some lunch after seeing a man jhand feed croc, the weather took a turn for the worst and out came the ponchos! Over to feed the kangaroos, who where just roaming around the place. We then headed upto tiger temple, where the tiger.....laid down. And off to see the koalas (there not bears) where D really wanted to take one with her!! Had a look at a few more cros and other interesting animals, and we then left and waited for the greyhound bus to take us to brisbane.
