Hi everyone,

A nice short drive awaited us today as we headed west to the coast of France to Biarritz for a beach day. After picking up some essentials such as beer and cider (no chilled drinks in supermarkets here so we tucked our booze under some frozen peas for 20 mins and boom budget traveler solution!) we parked the car and descended on the main beach at Biarritz. Unfortunately it was a bit of a cloudy day so only Ant made it into the atlantic when he thought one of the bits of seaweed could do with some watering.

Finding our hotel once again proved a little bit of a mission thanks to google maps thinking our hotel was on the other side of the airport! But we got there in the end. Funniest thing about this one was that the extra bed was mounted on the wall above the double bed with about half a meter head room before the roof came up to meet Tan's head!
