Bonjour followers!

Today we jumped on the road fairly early (for us) as we had a few places to visit before we ended up in Bordeaux for our last night together as the TNA team :-( First stop were the dunes du pyla, the largest sand dunes in Europe, they stretch for 3kms! After a brief lapse back into childhood with lots of diving and rolling and filling our clothes with sand and Nat pulling her pants down to empty them right in front of a no-longer-innocent 8 year old boy (check out some of our photos!) we continued on to our next stop; Arcachon for its infamous fresh oysters.

The oysters were Nat's "must do" part of this leg of our trip, so she went all out and ordered 12 "large" oysters. What we didn't realize was that "large" in Arcachon roughly translates to "mega" and these were the biggest oysters any of us had ever seen! She did the team proud and against better health recommendations smashed all 12 of her oysters! It took the rest of the afternoon for little blacky to recover.

We pulled into Bordeaux a tired team ready to check in to our very famous accommodation - the hotel California! Only to spend an hour walking up and down directly outside our hotel saying to each other "where the hell is this place??" eventually common sense prevailed and we found the place. A quick change and a few pre-drinks and we headed out to Cafe Brun to meet Ant's mate Danny and some of his mates including his very generous girlfriend Delphine who had us stay at her apartment the next 2 nights!

The night ended fairly epicly with a stumble home after dirty chips and chicken wrap for almost 3 hours sleep before the cab arrived at 6am to take Tan away from us :-( Unfortunately the little trooper wasn't traveling too well after last nights events and had a bit of a rough journey to the airport! Poor Tan.

On a related note, we just want to say how much of an amazing time we have had with Nat Carolan over the last 3 weeks. She has been a very fun travel buddy and we've done and seen some awesome sights with her which we will never forget. We love you Tan!
