The music festival is fantasic. A very civilised affair. There is a wide range of people attneding from hippies to working professionals. The music ranges from the light side of jazz, blues, soul, folk, funk, ska and metal. The jazz, blues, funk, soul and folk are superb. Its a refreshing change to see young people playing their instruments with such talent, (the guitar, cello, violin, calinet, trumpet, horn, piano etc). I even had my dancing boot on! The weather here has changed, its wet and very cold. Im wearing my winter woolies. I currently sleeping in the rafters of the hostel becuase its full to the brim. There 8-10 bunkbeds up there! Its a mixed dorm and people snore alot. My MP3 player is a godsend. I get to sleep by listening to Jack Johnston. (Thanks Sue). I love listening to him at the moment. Anyway, Im off to see some more bands now, I will be jigging the night away doing my fiddley dee, river dance impression. I taught a french couple some moves last night, for some reason they were impressed and bought me a few drinks to say thank-you.
