Around the world with Annie
Hi there,
Sorry for not writing for a few days. I have been having lots of fun. The moose travel bus is a hit. After finding Montreal rather lonely, I have joined a good group of people. 3 austrailian, 2 dutch, 1 german, 1 japanesse, 1 brit and 1 french canadian and a mad frenchman who is the driver. Im currently in Tadoussac, (a change of plan by Paul, mad frenchman). Tadoussac is a beautiful 16th century fihing village, surrounded by pine forests and a fjord running by it.
We went whalewatching today. It was fantastic in every shape and form. My use of the english language would not justify it. I will give more later when I get the photos downloaded. I have decided to stay here a little longer because I like the place so much. The bus-load of new friends have gone to Quebec. I am armed with lots of new email addresses. I will get picked up on Sunday. I love it here. I have been walking on the trails through the woods that go for miles and miles. Dont worry I will not stray off the path and I havent seen any bears yet. I am planning to go sea kiacking in the next few days.
It is a french community and they are making me feel very welcome. The hostel Im staying at, is beautiful. It is small and has a cottage atmosphere. The beds are comfortable, the showers are excellent and the breakfast is superb - eat all you can for $4, two pounds. Im currently listening to some relaxing blues music.
We have had a huge storm this evening. We have been enjoying the lightening across the fjord. Very dramatic. You could hear the storm coming in with the thumder rolling down the hills.
Hope you are all keeping well.
Lots of love Annie. (smile-alot)
