My second attempt.... Top of the day to you. I'm still here in Tadoussac. I love it here. It is so peaceful and the people here are so warm and welcoming. Every single person I pass by in the village says 'bonjour' some even say hello because they know I am english. It is a place that has captured my heart. I walk every day, 2-6 hours. The coast here is tranquil, one one side I can hear the waves crash against the shore and on the other side I can hear the wind in the trees and the birds in the sky. even though I'm alone here and don't speak any french, I feel great and very content. The whale watching was fantastic, I saw 5 minke whales and lots of the white beluga whales. I also enjoyed zipping around the coast at warp speed. It was great fun. it certainly blew the cobwebs away. When I walked the coast trail, I saw two seals basking in the sun. I also enjoy watching the beavers at dusk. They are funny creatures to watch. Yesterday, I walked the 13km trail along the fjord. A huge raven kept me company for some time. I have also bought myself a tin whistle, so I practice playing when I'm out in the forest. I probably scare all the wildlife away. So as you can guess, I have not seen any bears. Thanks for all the messages, they always make me smile. take care as always. Lots of Love Annie
