Around the world with Annie
Its good to be back in Tadoussac. My last night in Quebec was good fun. I joined the group who were travelling to Tadoussac, (4 aussies, 2 french, 3 english and 2 dutch). We all went to a club which played bongo drums all night. I had a time on the drums and I danced like a wild banshee all night. Needless to say, I felt rough the following morning. Tadoussac was bubbling with excitment when we arrived. There were people jamming together, one on the piano, one on the bass sax and one on a snare drum. I enjoyed listening to them. I have met a girl from the Netherlands and we have been hiking together. We are joining the festival today. There are over 50 bands playing here. I love this place, it has a very relaxing atmosphere and people are very friendly. I love the fact that you can go whale-watching by sitting on the rocks. The weather has turned and we have had rain but it has not dampened the mood. I will be returning to Montreal on Monday and then I will be flying out to Vancuver. I am planning to join a mosse travel tour over in the west because I get the opportunity to meet lots of people, stay in good hostels and have cheaper excursions. I am looking forward to going moutain biking. I will miss Tadoussac because it given me the opportunity to catch up with myself. It is definitely a special place.
I will write some more later on, with a news report about the music festival. So until then, take care as always. Annie.
