This is my second day in Montreal. Thank-fully I met a Brazilian girl from Rio. She is lawyer from a big newspaer and is good company. She attended an english course. We went to the old part of Montreal today and visited the latin quarter (again). Old Montreal has 17th century buildings. the 'Nortre Dame' church was very impressive, beautiful statues and ornate windows. I am looking forward to going to Quecbec and I'm glad that I have only stayed a few days here. It's a difficult city to be in by yourself and not speaking any french. My Brazilan friend also thought the same. It has been very hot, sunfactor 20. We did enjoy the latin quarter, (I visited there again today) lots of bars, cafes and boutques. We have walked miles.
