The bus arrived at Hue at 7.30! It was the most horrible 12 hour bus ever! Well except for the 27 hour bus we got.

I am so very ill! Coughing all night, much to the appreciation of the random Vietnamese guy next to me! I seriously can't breath! My inhaler doesn't help me any more! :( can't sleep, can't eat, can't speak as I have lost my voice, sore throat, headache, fever and clogged up chest. In Asia! What a joke.

Got my rucksack and some idiot had put it in a puddle! It was soaking wet and I had to put it on my back! Idiot I'm ill everyone should do what I want them to do.

Some guy offered us a guest house and free lift over the river which we accepted! It's called Binh Duong Guest House and costs us $10 (£6.30) so £3.15 each isn't bad and it's a nice room! We have our own square meter balcony! It's the ritz I'm telling you!

Went with Michael to get some noodle soup! Went back to the guest house at about 9 and tried to sleep! I couldn't though I was to sick! I feel now is the time to abuse my medical insurance! Ambulance for one!

I have so many mosquito bites on every crevice of my body and I can't find my malaria tablets to save my life! I don't have a clue where they are! So maybe I have malaria?

Skyped my mum at 12 after failing to sleep since 9 but listening to Michael snoring next to me! Mum refused to get the first flight to Vietnam to look after her only daughter, I can't think of anything as important!!! Revenge will be sweet.

At 3 when Michael woke up I managed to climb down the mountainous stair case and book us a tour for tomorrow! It includes the Old Citadel, Garden House, Thien Mu Pagoda, Minh Mang Tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb, Tu Duc Tomb and going to visit Conical Hat (a village that makes hats).

I know this means nothing to you and believe me it won't mean anything to me if I'm ill but I read about these places and think we should go!

Went to the pharmacy! No idea how I use my medical insurance but I think it's only for hospital. Stood there for 15 minutes trying to explain! They gave my tablets for all sorts as I googled them! In the end we just accepted these two tablets Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Ameflu cough flu and cold. I have no idea if we are aloud to take these on doxycline but if they make me feel better I don't really care.

Went to eat down the street, I wasn't hungry but we needed I take these pills with food!

Got back to the guest house at 5 and changed the tour from tomorrow to the next day as Michael is starting to not feel well as well! :(

Asked the receptionist where the shop was but maybe shouldn't have said super market as we had to walk 20 minutes down the road to get to it!! It absolutely stank of general crap inside as well!

All we wanted was a sandwich but they only sold loafs of bread so we got wafers instead! When you leave the super market your receipt and bags get checked even though he watched us pack them? You then get your receipt stamped to say your not a thief!

Trekked back to the guest house and fell straight to sleep! I'm so ill :(
