A-M heads off to meet RBS honchos (head of Australia etc) in a morning of power networking. Dave heads off for the 5th and final haircut of the trip and some last minute shopping.

The 10 minute train journey from central Sydney to the airport costs more than the 2.5 hour train from Sydney to Newcastle! Some things are the same the whole world over....

Our Virgin Atlantic service has films on demand and it is sobering to watch Al Gore's 'An Inconvenient Truth' as we take the 'easy' way home high in the sky. We all have a role to play in making things better....

Our Hong Kong transit is uneventful although the Norman Foster designed terminal takes an age to traverse. Sleep is fitful at best on the final leg - entertainment is great on the flight but the seats aren't the comfiest for a 24 hour haul. Nonetheless we land safely at Heathrow and the whole thing is over. Feels strange to be back after so long away, now suddenly 4 months seems like the blink of an eye....

Anyway, thanks for all the e-mails and messages that you posted, it was good to know that we had an audience out there!
