Anne Hi Guys, Hope you have a great Christmas. Say hi to the family for us. Sorry Dave about the Ashes, shame that the boxing day test is going to be a lost cause, but am pleased we've got them back. Ian Doesn't sound as though you'll be getting much of a commission payment from the Cambodian Tourist Board! In terms of the boat, surely there's good scope for a Krypton Factor (Dave - you'll probably need to explain that one)/Grand National event where you have to do a lap of the boat, going over all those freight containers? Hide and seek might use up a fair portion of the day as well....

Hazel Great stuff as ever guys! When does the boat leave? I've been trying to think of suitable activities. I did think that learning a language would seem a good way of passing time and even offers a competitive angle...but then I thought that it would be more useful on a slow boat To China. Then there's the chance to develop and perfect some WWF (or WWE or whatever) moves - I'm thinking Annie throwing Dave or something but guess the edge of the boat could be a problem. There must be some good ideas out there. Lager news for Dave: Admittedly I've been drinking more Limoncello than lager recently (still in Italian mode) but I'm concerned by some newfangled lager that seems to be being promoted by Carling: C2. They're calling it the pint you can drink at lunchtime, a "mid-strength" at 2%. Mid-strength? 2%? What on earth is going on. I'm hoping the whole country will boycott this shocking stuff.

Marni Hi guys - have just had another good chuckle reading snippets of your blog. Sounds like a true adventure! We've just got back from Tenerife - not quite the experience that you've been having but a good week away from the rat race all the same. Weather was good for body-boarding, a bit of hiking and some mild improvement on our Spanish. We thought you'd be on the freighter by now but I guess it doesn't take as long to get to Oz by boat as we thought! (or else you're missing the first few days of the Ashes). Have fun and play safe!

Hazel Quoits surely for the frieghter trip? On games - Dave, you missed a mighty Midland Mainline poker session the other week on a huge First Class table. You also missed three Morris "Teams" in a Nottingham pub, which probably makes you glad that you weren't there. Keep up the great blogging.

Kate Gardner Hey Guys, Sounds like the adventures continue with much gusto and enthusiasum. Am enjoying the various tales of much trekking and the various food eating that goes on. The transport sounds like ther is much to be desired but fun all the same. One must have aptience in these parts of the world as things will be done in their time!
