Ian's 40th birthday - presents were stuffed inside Shane the Possum glove puppet; Ian performs a full rectal probe and is delighted with what pops out.

All make their way to the SCG for the birthday cricket. Sportingly, England have decided that psychologically, Australia need to win 5-0 to try and exorcise some of their cricketing demons. So by lunchtime we have moved on for birthday lunch / drinks outside of the ground (it was too hot in there anyway).

Dinner at Doyle's restaurant by the harbour for Ian's birthday. Excellent fish dishes consumed (Barracuda fillets, swordfish, stuffed prawns, etc). Good opportunity for close up shots of the Harbour Bridge by night and to explore the quaint side streets that make up The Rocks.
