Woke up from our tent for the last time on the trip and our final packing up session. In the morning we had a camel ride around Ichi Dichi (we think - from memory). The morning offers a surf lesson. Australia proves to be 'fair dinkum' streets ahead of the competion offered by the Rest of The World. England spends the evening teaching Japan new rude words and documenting the spelling for them.

Old Holland complains that she wants a better seat as 'not all of us came to sleep and read'. Within an hour she is asleep in her new seat. Spend the afternoon swimming with sea lions (tickling them under the chin) and with dolphins. Get to sleep in a bed for the first time,which is very nice.Go for a night drive in search of local wombats, but only kangaroos oblige. A later than normal start as everyone tries to dry out from the storm. Lots more driving. The phantom only makes some very brief appearances early in the day. Arrive late afternnon in Fowlers Bay. Lots of fun sandboarding down the dunes next to the farm where we stay. Germay, England and Australia prove more spunky when it comes to staying power and seeking out the steepest slopes. Luckily there is a load of grub for tea as Germany has 3 full plates of spaghetti...
