SO! almost home time, and i am very excited about many things in england! It has been fairly low key since the return from zanzibar which has involved lots of sunbathing and eating :-) Not much to say really apart from this the last blog entry and SEE YOU IN ENGLAND! Hello! I think the last post was on tuesday of last week so i shall update you on my adventures since then! On wednesday i was back on casualty and outpatients, which was eventful! That evening we went to watch the football against slovenia which was amazing as we had the USA game on the screen next to it and just as our final whistle went and all the engalnd fans erupted, the USA scored and they all erupted so this whole bar was just carzy with football fans! This week has been more chilled! On wednesday we went to watch the football and as i am sure everone will agree, was not worth watching! Thursday we had the BBQ and went to Via Via for some dancing to english music! Friday was a couple of the girls last day so we had lunch at a really good cafe then went to the cinima to watch date night again, so good! Saturday and sunday were VERY uneventful and i just sat and read, 4 books down....! Back at placement yeasterd...

Jambo :-) Sorry my blog posts haven't been very frequent! It was jasmines birthday on thursday so we had a BBQ and then went to the local club, Via Via and did some interesting dancing to the 'sound of the serengeti'! Was really cool and quite an experiance, the place was full of Mzungus though! The work the world staff really made an effort with her birthday and made her a card and a HUGEEEEEE cake which was gorgeous. Apparently they do that for everyones ...

Jambo! Sooo, where to start! Yesterday was our first day in the hospitals, and it is just mindblowing. The sanitation and the condition of the wards is just so different. At the moment i am on obstetrics and that is pretty crazy! About 10 women all lying naked in beds all giving birth in front of each other and me stood in the middle catching babies! No pain relief and you are lucky if you hear a peep out of any of them, puts us brits to shame. However, due to ...
