Okey, so have now been in lerng nokta (our project) for almost 3 days. it is a very small kind of village that basically is located on a t junction. so there are two main roads,. there is pretty much most things you could need aparrt from clothes to supplement my low suppliees. we are still livng with our host family. they are very very nice but the house not so much. it is a kind of two story garrage. the ground floor is interestingly decorated and looks a bit like a horrible antique store but they photos of their family up on the walls like very prou parents which i find very cute. the toilet is a china squat toilet that has a bucket of water that youu use a ladel to flush. the shower is not working (tho i dont think it would be a gret whoer if it was working) so we have to use a bucket of water and laddle (a different one from the flush). it sounds horrible but is surprisingly ok and amazingly refreshing. it feels like a lifetime of dirt, sweat and grime is coming off in one. we are sleeping on a mattress on the floor with a mosquito net above us which kind of forms a tent and is actually quite good fun. the t.v is hilariuose. even though we cant understand it, it is more cheesy than days of our lives!

last night we met one of the four english speaking men in the village . he is called david and is from somehwre in the north of england, and was really lovely. it felt so relieving just to hear an english accent again!! i cant wait to get to chang mai and here the other volunteers accents again.

the mosquitos are becoming unbearable. our net has holes in it which doesnt help. i currently have seven bites on one foot. they seem to like feet and hands for some reason. its trully horrible.

so we are happy though me and fleur only really know two card games between us so cards are becoming slightly rpetitive . we will have to search for some more.

dont know when we will start teaching yet, maybe next week. we are doing 3 days in primary and 1 in secondary at the moment. on mondays we will be working is the tessoban doing community work i think. will have to see how the next few weeks go then.
