We are leaving for our projects tonight so i dont know when i will next have internet. we have an overnight bus journey of about 12 hours or so, apparently we arrive at the crack of dawn. However, its not as bad as it sounds because i think we have vip tickets which means we have almost fully reclining chairs so we can have a nice little sleep.

Today we tried to go to the kings palace but apparently it was closed to all tourist until 4 which was annoying. so instead, as usual i really needed to toilet and we asked a nice man who told us to go into the park where we had a lovely little wonder. it was really beautiful.

oh, and last night we were sitting in the middle of the night market having a drink when quite suddenly we heard a rattling on the giant plastic sheet that was covering us about 30ft in the air. We were experiencing our first terrential rain. we stayed sheltered until it stopped and got a taxi home. there was even thunder and lightenign to boot.

Its hot and humid as usaul but nice. i'm excited and scared about going to the projects now. Completely unexpectedly, we are actually there until first weekend of october before we go to Chang Mai for our language course and will start teaching. so i will be teaching english before i have even learnt a word of thai.
