Anna's travels......
Yesterday we left Brazil for Argentina. We just went over the boarder. Had to be stamped out and then in. Took a while. As soon as you step over the boarder it all changes, time difference, money, language. It only took us about 2 hours to get to the new hostel. And what a hostel this is. Just wait until you see the photos. When we arrived we looked like little kids in a sweet shop. This place is better than most of the places I've stayed in on girls holidays. It has a massive pool, large common area, tv's, a bar, free internet, free pool, free table football ....... We are in a mixed dorm for 6, nice size rooms and all for just 7 pound a night.
We got the Bus to the Argentina size of the waterfalls and they were even more amazing than the Brazilian size. At the 'Devils Throat', the main water fall, it looked like all the water in the world was going down this one waterfall. And there were lots of rainbows bouncing off the waterfalls, looked very pretty. The falls are surrounded by a large park area. It took us all day to walk round and then we got a train to the top park of the falls.
The best part of the day was the boat ride. It was so cool. The boat goes right up to the water fall, through it and we all got completely soaked. It doesn't sound that good but it was. Lucky it was so hot that we all dried off in about 40mins.
When we got back to our 5 star hostel we jumped in the pool. By this point it was moon light. Can't beat a nice swim and a beer in the evening! Oh and 5 bottles of red wine (cost under 2 pounds!). As you can imagine I was rather drunk, well we all was. Early hours this morning we were swinging from the hammocks that hang in the reception area. Excellent night. The last two days have been really good. Gale, Mitch, Andy and I are all on the same wave length and have had a giggle. Its sad today because we are going a separate ways. Gale is going up to Ecuador. Mitch down to Argentina and Andy and I are heading back down to a place called Florianopolis in the south of Brazil.
Today going to chill around the pool and then I have the 15hr bus journey to Florianopolis .
