Day 9 (19/03) Early morning yesterday. Woke up at 7, and left for our tour at 8. Tour was ok, not amazing. First bit was interesting, went to some museum about the death railyway and walked through the hellfire pass..i would tell you about it..but i dont have the time, but im sure you can look it up if you are that interested. Then went to some natural spring, and hot water spring...just sat next to the water with my legs in. Didnt go in cos i didnt bring any spare clothes. Sat there for and hour and a half....got pretty boring after a while. Then went to this waterfall which was quite cool, but not as impressive as i thought it would be. Then went to some cave, and then rode the death railway to the bridge over the River Kwai. At the caves i got some wicked pictures of the river and the surrounding scenery. Really nice. Though i will upload them next time. Im charing my mp3 player at the mo, and there isnt another USB port..sorry! Food was included at lunch. Was really good, was the best food i'd had untill today. Day 10 (20/03) Today we checked out of the bamboo hut, and made our way to the bus station. This time we decided to take a first class because because the one on the way up was too hott. Only cost 99 baht. 14 baht more than the one on the way up. So we sat comfortably for an 3 hours in an air conditioned bus. We arrived im Bangkok, and searched out a room. We went back to the same place we were in last time in Khao San Road. Its only for one night. Tomorrow evening we leave for Chaing Mai. A 14 hour train ride from Bangkok the the north of Thailand! Havent really done much else today. Dinner was rather amusing though. Went to some Thai Restaurant that we picked out of the guide book. I ordered some Rice dish which was mixed with vegetables and cocked with some thai green paste. Man was that HOTT I mean volcano hot. I was sitting comfortably in an air conditioned restaurant, and as soon as i started eating, i was sweating. My tongue was on fire. And my ears were burning!! I never knew my ears could burn. I downed my drink, and i was still on fire. So i asked for water. And the waiter took ages to get it for me. I could have set that place on fire if he took any longer. Tomorrow morning could be quite painful if ya get me. The food was really nice tho, especially the chicken wrapped in some leaf. I started eating the leaf aswell, then asked the waiter whether i was supposed to eat it. Turns out i shouldn't have been. lol. Tasted quite good though. Thats about it for today. My next entry should come from Chaing Mai where we will be trekking to some hill tribe villages. Untill then ByeBye P.S i just found a second USB port so i can upload photos now :)
