We had an action packed day today . Drove from Switzerland to France (266km) to get acquainted with Grenoble before tomorrows time trial.

As we were checking in, the HTC Highroad technical team rolled up in the truck with all of the TT bikes. We spent a bit of time stalking them whilst they set up the bikes. Once it was time to watch the race on tv, we headed into a pub I'm the centre if town. A group of Aussies from Melb walked in soon after us, so we had a great afternoon eating chips and drinking Stella Artois and watching Stg 19. It was very exciting!! We have our fingers crossed that Cadel can have the TT of his life and come home with a win.

We've had an up and down day with food. AWESOME baguette for lunch, but below average Moroccan feed for dinner. Tomorrow we are having a French bistro meal of steak and the local delicacy . Grenoble is home to the "gratin dauphinois" aka potato bake. Let's see if it stacks up!
