We took a cyclo to the port and boarded the boat to explore the floating islands which were amazing, houses made from reeds and pet flamingoes. Then on to Taquile Island and finally arriving at luguina to meet our home stay family.
We were welcomed by a ceremony of traditional dance and invited to don some Peruvian dresses and join in! After a game of football with the locals we returned to our family's home to help with the preparations for tea, played dominoes with David (5) and Augusta helped with us talking to the family. Amazing food cooked in the smallest and simplest kitchen ever seen!!
