Today was spent exploring (but mainly shopping) in Cusco, followed by sampling the delicacy 'cuy' - AKA guinea pig!( see the photo) The fact it has been traditionally served on special occasions since Inca times is quite fitting after the last few days and that our amazing and VERY special trip is coming towards the end.

Today we travelled to Cusco and it's from here we will be leaving for the inca trail! We returned to our 'South east Asia' ways and head straight for a starbucks! Lovely Skype chat with mum and dad - 11 sleeps until we arrive home and I really can't wait!
