4am start to see a sun rise that was hidden by a mass of black clouds but still a good view for breakfast time. We walked around the base of Ayres rock and it was amazing to see it from all angles, caves, paintings from the aboriginals, waterholes and more.We stopped for lunch at the nearest point you can drive to, to being at the dead centre of Australia. A quick stop at the camel farm before driving back to Alice springs and a farewell meal with everyone from our tour. A hard few days but we have enjoyed meeting lots of new people and we got to see a red kangeroo, dingos, various birds, horses and camels out in the 'wild'
