We walked along the rocks where the petrified forrest is and we were lucky enough to find a very endangered yellow-eyed penguin in the bushes! We took some pics and when we turned around there was another one just coming out of the sea over the rocks. When we get to a strong enough internet I will try to put the vidoe on here but he was just fab! And we were so very lucky to get to watch him for so long. We once again stopped for some pics, visited the most southernly point of NZ and brought some warmer clothes before arriving at Te Anau. It almost feels like the lake district here!
